Former Nevadan To Be Buried Here in Services Thursday

Funeral services for former Nevadan, Frank Ray, 82, who died Saturday, will be at the Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines at 1 p.m. on Thursday with graveside ceremonies at Nevada at 3 p.m. the same afternoon.

Ray, who lived near Nevada before moving to Des Moines in 1918, was a service man for the J. I. Case Co. before his retirement.

He died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

The son of Samuel and Martha Ray, he was born March 27, 1881 near Nevada. On December 25, 1901 he was married to Miss Ada Barker.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Darl Tibbits, Portland, Oregon, and Mrs. John Sager of Des Moines; two grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Roy Weeks of Nevada and Mrs. Roger Hopkins of Colo.

The Rev. Leatherman, pastor of Grace Methodist Church in Des Moines, will officiate at funeral services in Des Moines and at Nevada.
