James McLaughlin Dies Last Night At the Age of 15

James Ian McLaughlin, 15, son of Mr. and Mrs. James W. McLaughlin, 335 I avenue, died Sunday evening at 8:30 at his home after a lifetime illness of muscular dystrophy.

Funeral services will be held from Central Presbyterian church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. Robert Spencer officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.

A memorial fund in the memory of James McLaughlin is being established for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

James is survived by his parents James W. and Lydia Ann McLaughlin, two sisters, Mary Helen and Diane at home. He also leaves two uncles, John K. Peterson of Nevada and William D. Peterson of Phoenix, Arizona; an aunt, Mrs. W. H. Watson of Peoria, Ill., his Great Uncle and Aunt, Mr. and Mrs. George Rapson of Cherokee and other close relatives.
