The remains of Carl, the eleven year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Mason, who died of diphtheria, were privately interred in the Palestine creamery [sic] Wednesday, the 20th. Carl was a bright active fellow with many friends and relatives in this vicinity who will miss him very much. His younger sister, Nellie, and Miss Christopherson, who works at Mason's, are also ill with the same disease. The family is quarentined and every precaution taken to prevent the spreading of the disease.
