MASSEY BODY ARRIVED SUNDAY
EARLIER DAY NEVADA RESIDENT DIED AT FERGUS FALLS, MINN.
The body of Samuel F. Massey, 79, earlier day resident of Nevada arrived here from Fergus Falls, Minn., on an early morning Rock Island train Sunday, and was taken at once to the Morfoot Funeral home, where brief services were held at 12:30, followed by the interment in the family lot in the Nevada cemetery.
The Massey family, whose home was on First street just south of I avenue during their residence here, before leaving for northern Iowa thirty-nine years ago, is remembered by some of the older residents.
The family went from here to northern Iowa where they lived for a short time and from there to Fergus Falls, where they have lived fro 35 years.
Two children were buried in the local cemetery, a son in 1889 and a daughter in 1896.
Among relatives here for the service were the wife, Mrs. S. F. Massey, Miss Ruth J. Massey, Mr. and Mrs. William Schueller, Frances Schueller and Kenneth Massey all of Fergus Falls, Robert V. Massey of Wibauex, Montana and C. W. Massey of Fargo, N. D.
A group of about fifty relatives and near friends of the family were here for the service coming form various parts of Iowa, as well as from Minnesota and other points.
