Hazel Ludwig Elwell

Hazel Morris, daughter of John and Alice See Morris, was born August 22, 189 in Story County, Iowa and passed away in the Story County Hospital June 4, 1975 at the age of 85 years.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Nevada. She lived her entire life in Story County except for 5 winters in Arkansas in the home of her daughter, Ferne.

In 1912 she married Albert G. Ludwig and to this union two daughters were born, Ferne, Mrs. Arthur J. Hobson of Diamond City, Arkansas and Neva, Mrs. Henry Borts of Zearing, Iowa.

Mr. Ludwig passed away in 1930 and in 1932 she married Clark Elwell who preceded her in death in 1955. Also preceding her in death were her parents, sister Zina, and four brothers, William, John, Ervin and Ross, and 2 infant great grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
