Mrs. Lewis Hauge Dies at Hospital In Story City Thurs.

Mrs. Lewis (Cora) Hauge, Story City, died at the Story City Hospital at 10 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 3. She had been hospitalized since October 29.

She was born Oct. 15, 1885, at Marseilles, Ill., the daughter of Eric and Julia Hauge Oct. 15, 1902. They moved to Iowa in 1915 and farmed near Randall. In 1938 they moved to Story City.

Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 7 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Story City at 2 p.m. The Rev. Harold Masted will officiate with burial in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home, Story City until noon on Monday.

Survivors include her husband Lewis, Story City, one son, Obie R. Hauge, Hyattsville, Md., one daughter, Mrs. Erma Anderson, San Francisco, Calif., one brother, Ira Thorson, Story City, one sister, Mrs. John Hauge, Story City; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Her parents, two sons, three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
