DEATHS

Mrs. Julia Ford

Pastor C.A. Gisselquist officiated at the 2 p.m. services at the Immnauel Luthern Church, Story City, Friday, July 9, for Mrs. Julia Ford. Chaplain M.C. Hagedorn of Bethany Manor spoke on behalf of the Bethany Manor.

Mrs. Harold Olson, organist, accompanied Mrs. David Amenon and Mrs. Loren Tjernabel who sang "If I Gained the World" and My God and I." The congregation sang "What A Friend we Have in Jesus."

Pallbearers were Clark Westvold, James Westvold, David Amenson, Thomas Olson, Philip Ford and John Ford. Burial was in the Mamreland Cemetery.

Mrs. Juia Ford, born May 4, 1884, in Lisbon, Ill., was the daughter of Samuel and Sophie Egemo.

In 1905 she was united in marriage to John Ford who preceded her in 1925.

Mrs. Ford had been a resident of Story City Bethany Manor since March 1968. She had fallen and broken a hip and on Monday evening, July 5, died at Mary Greeley Hospital after suffering a heart attack.

Surviving are four sons and four daughters: Thelmar Ford of Story City, Joseph Ford of Stanhope, Jeffrey Ford of Stratford, Mrs. Milford (Sophie) Amenson and Mrs. Max (Stella) Jorgenson of Ames, Mrs. Walter (Violet) Olson and Mrs. Selmer (Marjorie) Ford of Huxley and Bervin Ford of Phoenix, Ariz.; 31 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren; two brothers, Luther Egemo and Willie A. Egemo, both of Story City, and two sisters, Mrs. Martin Wierson and Mrs. Chester Seberill, both of Ames.
