Pioneer Story City Woman Dies, Victim of Heart Trouble

Story City, Oct. 1--Mrs. John Jorgenson, 74, died at 6:20 a. m. today at her farm home southwest of Story City, a victim of a heart affliction. She had been confined to her home for a week.

She was born in Denmark, 74 years ago Friday, October 2, and came to America with her parents and here she was married John Jorgenson and they had made their home during their married life in the neighborhoods of Jewell and Story City. Mr. Jorgenson died June 2, shortly before their forty-ninth wedding anniversary.

She leaves only two children. The son, Lewis, is in the U. S. army and is stationed at Camp Lee, Va., while the daughter, Anna Jorgenson, is at home.

She leaves no brothers or sisters.

Funeral arrangements had not been made, awaiting definite word from the son.
