E. Jacobsen, Jr. of Story City Dies in D. M. Hotel Tues.

Edwin C. Jacobsen, Jr., 37, of Story City was found dead in his room at the Elliott Hotel in Des Moines yesterday afternoon. Death was attributed to a heart condition.

Mr. Jacobsen, who was single, was born and had lived in the Story City community all his life. He had been employed by his father in the drug business which they recently sold.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Jacobsen, Sr. of Story City and one sister, Mrs. Mary Barnett of Guthrie Center.

Private funeral services for the family and relatives will be held Wednesday, Nov. 25th at 2:00 p. m. in the Chapel of the St. Petri Lutheran Church in Story City. Rev. George C. Strum will officiate. Burial will be in the Story City municipal cemetery.
