Death Tuesday Of John R. Jackson, Former Resident

John R. Jackson, 86, resident of Buckeye for many years but a former resident of Nevada, died Tuesday morning in a hospital in Mason City. He underwent an operation on Thursday coming through it very satisfactorily but lapsed into a coma Monday night.

Funeral services will be in Buckeye Friday and committal in the family lot in the Nevada cemetery by the side of the sife, the later Linna Stone Jackson who died in 1930 and their son Carl Jackson whose death occurred in 1934.

Mr. Jackson is survived by one son, John Ellis Jackson of Buckeye and by a daughter, Erma Jackson Lunde of Chicago. He also leaves four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Mr. Jackson's wife, the late Linna Stone Jackson, was a cousin of Glenn Armstrong and Ed Armstrong of this city and of the last Chas. E. Armstrong. Her mother who died in 1--1 was Mrs. Mollie Stone, a sister of the late Will Armstrong and Sime Armstrong of Nevada.
