Mrs. Osmund Holland Dies At Home Wed. At the Age of 80

Mrs. Osmund Holland, 80, died suddenly at her home in Story City at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. Death resulted from a coronary attack. Mrs. Holland, a life long resident of the Story City community was born July 21, 1884 at Story City, the daughter of Erick and Julia Peterson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. (DST) at the St. Petri Lutheran Church in Story City with Pastor Rhuben O. Aga officiating. Burial will be in the Story City Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call at the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home in Story City from Friday morning until Saturday noon.

Survivors are three children: two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Juliet) Baughman, Ames and Mrs. Wayne (Elizabeth) Taylor of Gilbert; a son Ransom who resides in Story City. Four grandchildren, one great grand child, two sisters; Mrs. Hannah Holland, Randall and Miss Margaret Peterson of Los Angeles, Calif. and a brother, Erick of Jewell also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband who died thirteen months ago.
