Letta Holverson, 82, Dies at Fort Dodge

FT. DODGE--Letta Holverson, 82, died here Wednesday at Friendship Haven.

She was born March 21, 1875, near Melvin, Ill. and came to Iowa as a young woman. She lived in Nevada for many years in the home of her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Knudson.

Many Story county families came to know her well for her services as a practical nurse.

She was a long-time member of the Nevada Methodist church.

When her sister died in 1950 the Knudson home was sold and in June 1951 she moved to Ft. Dodge.

She is survive by a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada Friday at 10 o'clock with Rev. Raymond Shipman officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the funeral home from 9 to 10 a. m. Friday.
