Last Rites For Mrs. A. V. Fitch Held Wednesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Aaron V. Fitch, 1304 Eleventh street, who passed away Sunday evening at 6:30 after an invalidism of 11 years, were held Wednesday afternoon a 2:30 o'clock at Memorial Lutheran church with Rev. E. P. Windman officiating.
Mrs. Donald Voelker sang two numbers "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and "In the Hour of Trial". Mrs. Norman C. Dobson was at the organ.
The flowers were arranged by Mrs. Clarence Morfoot and Mrs. Chas. F. Wilson.
Nephews of the deceased served as pallbearers: Roger French, Harlan Baker, Elwin Baker, Earl Prescott, Keith Eubanks, and Bill Allen. Burial was in the Nevada cemetery.
Obituary
Minnie Boelk was born in Illinois, August 27, 1891 and passed into the life beyond, Jan. 15, 1950 at Nevada, Iowa.
On June 3, 1914 she was married to Aaron Fitch. To this union were born two children, a daughter who died in infancy and a son La Vern Fitch of Slater.
Surviving the deceased are the husband and son, two grandchildren, Sharon and Linda Fitch; three sisters, Mrs. Elmer Prescott of Nevada, Mrs. H. E. Baker of Ames and Mrs. Wm. Neeld of Fernald, and one brother, Frank Boelk of Nevada.
Mrs. Fitch had lived her entire married life in Story county except the first four years of it when they lived in Minnesota. Since March 7 of las year Mr. and Mrs. Fitch have been living in Nevada.

Baker, Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Baker and Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Baker of Ames; Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Hopper of State Center; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Sams of Des Moines; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kaltenhouser of Newton, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Denton of Cambridge, Mrs. Ella Engen, Mr. and Mrs. Junior McHone, Dr. and Mrs. Geo. J. Severson of Slater and Mrs. Edith Longnecker of Maxwell.
