Fred Swanson, 78 Dies In Michigan Services Here Wed.

Fred Swanson 78, of 411 ---, Springfield avenue, Champaign, Ill., a former Nevada resident, died Saturday afternoon at 5:30, at Manistique, Mich. from a heart attack.

The body was returned to Champaign, Ill. for funeral services which will be held in Champaign Tuesday morning at --- a. m. after which the remains will be brought to the --- Funeral Home in Nevada where additional services will be held Wednesday afternoon at -- -. m. with Dr. R. A. Shipman officiating.

Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery by the side of his wife who passed away June --, 1952.

Mrs. Swanson is survived by - brothers Otto Swanson of Nevada, Thurston Swanson of Des Moines and John Swanson of [Califo]rnia. Two sisters, Mrs. [Ella] Born and Mrs. George Eilers and one brother Al Swanson [preced]eded him in death. The de[ceased] was a brother-in-law of --- Emma Anderson, Mrs. Em---- Hansen and George Eilers [of th]is city.
