Former Resident Dies in D.M. Wed. At the Age of 74

Mrs. Edith Cody, who lived in Nevada several years ago, died Wednesday in Des Moines at the age of 74.

Born June 16, 1890, the daughter of Lewis and Rebecca Krugler, she had been a resident of Des Moines the past 52 years.

Surviving are a brother, Carl Krugler, Springdale, Ark. and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and two sisters, one of whom, Mrs. Eva McKee, died June 12, 1964.

Graveside services will be in the Nevada Cemetery Friday morning at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Victor Hackbarth officiating. Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home until 10:30 Friday morning.
