Mrs. Lars Chelley Dies Early Today at Story City

Story City, January 13--Mrs. Lars Chelley, 81, died at 2:30 a. m. today at her home in Story City after an illness since Christmas, suffering from old age and complications.

She was a native of Etna, Norway, coming to America and locating at Callander, north of here, in 1900 and was married a year later. They moved to Elmore, Minn., in 1911 and nine years later to Red Wing, where they lived until 1920. They came to Story City in 1924.

Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Carrie Thorsbakken and one granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Monday at Immanuel Lutheran church at 2:00 p. m. following a prayer service at the home at 1:30.
