Thelma Applegate Dies This Morning

Miss Thelma E. Applegate, 53, Nevada Route 2, died this morning at her home after a period of ill health which has covered a number of years.

Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home, Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Gruber officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery. A memorial church fund inn her memory has been suggested by the family.

Born at Casselton, North Dak., Jan. 11, 1901, a daughter of Lewis E. and Bernice Applegate, she had lived in Story county most of her life.

She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church, Nevada.

The decease is survived by her sister, Mrs. Floyd Finger of Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
