Kelley Man Died Very Suddenly

Special to the Journal.
Kelley, June 18--Lars Ford, 64 years old and long time resident of Kelley and this vicinity, died suddenly, shortly after noon Saturday at his home here, of heart trouble, resulting from the effects of the flu which he had in the winter. He had been feeling much better recently and had been down town and calling on a neighbor in the morning when the fatal attack came.

Mr. Ford is survived by his widow and four children, all of which were present in a short time. They are Mae, Milford, Mrs. Floyd Barr of Ames and Stanley. A son Fred, died several years ago.

Funeral services will be held from the Lutheran church here Tuesday at 2:00, following brief prayer service at the home at 1:30. Rev. Rorem of Slater will be in charge and interment will take place later at the Bethany cemetery south of Kelley.
