Sudden Death.
We are called to announce the sudden decease of Mr. Amos Ball, near Cambridge, on Saturday morning last, after a brief illness of but a very few day. Dr. Willey who was called in on Friday as consulting physician, says that if the cholera was prevailing here, he would be inclined to pronounce Mr. Ball's a case of that character, and his symptoms certainly strongly favored the opinion. We hear of other persons in that neighborhood suffering from a similar attack, but no other fatal results are announced.
The deceased was one of our most estimable citizen farmers, a man highly respected by his neighbors and acquaintances and whose loss will be so severely felt in the community. He served faithfully as a soldier of the Union army, and was member, in good and regular standing, of Nevada Masonic Lodge, whose members are called to mourn the loss of a respected comrade. His remains were interred on Saturday evening.
