Funeral Services For Sarah Olson

Funeral rites for Mrs. Sarah Olson, Slater woman who died in the evening of July 3rd, were held Saturday afternoon, from the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Fausch at Slater at 1:30 o'clock and the Lutheran church at Cambridge at 2:00. The services at the home included scripture reading and prayer by Rev. Jacobson and a vocal solo by Walter Christopher of Huxley.

The services at Cambridge were in charge of her pastor, Rev. Jacobson. They opened with prayer by the pastor. A vocal solo, "Hvo ved Hvor ner mig er min ende," a Norwegian selection was sung by Rev. Onstad of Slater. The sermon by Rev. Jacobson followed. A vocal duet was sung by Mrs. June Woods and Mrs. Arnold Nernes after which Rev. Bueland spoke. In closing Walter Christopher sang, "The Last Mile of The Way."

There were many lovely flowers. These were arranged by Mrs. Mathilda Hill and Miss Marie Folgero. There were gifts to the missions and other church activities in her memory. Burial was made in the Cambridge cemetery where her husband is buried.
