Hunting Accident Fatal at Ames

Special to the Journal.
Ames, Dec. 1--Jeffre Knepper, 14, son of Mrs. Lydia Knepper of Ames, died in the Mary Greeley hospital here Sunday afternoon from gunshot wounds received Saturday while hunting.

Young Knepper had been a hunting with a rifle Saturday with a group of boys north of Ames when he was accidentally shot in the abdomen. The gun was in the hands of his cousin, Richardson Olsan, when it was accidentally discharged.

SUMBITTER'S NOTE: According to his death record, Joffre Knepper was the son of Joseph Knepper and Lydia Olsan.
