CHARLES WHITAKER DIED ON SUNDAY
PROMINENT LINCOLN TOWNSHIP FARMER VICTIM OF HEART TROUBLE
Special to the Journal.
Zearing, Dec. 1--C. L. Whitaker, 61, prominent farmer of north of Zearing on the Jefferson highway, died at his home Sunday morning from an attack of heart trouble, resulting from other complications. Mr. Whitaker had not been well for some months, had spent some time at Iowa sanitarium, Nevada and in the autumn had suffered an attack of pneumonia.The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1:30, either from the home or the Evangelical church in Zearing after which interment will be in the Hubbard cemetery, by the side of a son who died some years ago.
Interment will be in charge of the local Masonic lodge of which he had been a member for many years.
Mr. Whitaker had lived on the same farm for close to 40 years and was a many well and very favorably known in the community.
He leaves his wife, one on, Verner Whitaker, two grandchildren, two sisters and one brother.
