AGED STORY CITY WOMAN IS DEAD

MRS. RACHEL SWENSON CALLED BY DEATH AFTER ILLNESS OF A YEAR

Story City, Nov. 25--Mrs. Rachel Swenson, 80, died at her home here at 3:30 this morning after a year's illness.

The funeral of Mrs. Swenson will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 at Bethel church, after which interment will be in the Story City cemetery, by the side of her husband, Samuel Swenson, who died in 1920.

Mrs. Swenson, who was between 79 and 80 years of age, was a native of Norway, Europe. For over forty years the family lived in the Ellsworth neighborhood, but came to Story City in 1917.

She leaves eight children, they being Mrs. Swen Valde of Ellsworth, S. W. Swenson of Norman, Okla., Daniel Swenson of Story City, Mrs. T. A. Osmundson of Des Moines, S. H. Swenson of Omaha, Dr. R. T. Swenson of New York City, Mrs. J. M. Kegley of St. Paul and Marie Swenson at home.
