Rosenfeld Funeral Held This Afternoon

Special to the Journal.
Ames, Nov. 24--Funeral services for Lester Rosenfeld, 66, longtime resident of this part of the county here, this afternoon at 2:00, after which the body was interred in the Ames cemetery, under Masonic rites.

The funeral service was in charge of Rev. H. K. Hawley and a Masonic service was held at the grave. The escort was furnished by the Commandry of Knight Templers.

Mr. Rosenfeld, who died Friday at 11 p. m. had spent the most of his life in the neighborhood of Kelley, but had moved to Ames about ten years ago. Death took place at his home 811 Hodge avenue, after a three months illness.

Mr. Rosenfeld was born July 9, 1864, in Morrison, Ill. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Torgerson and Mrs. Blanche Hutchinson, both of Kelley, a brother, Carl Rosenfeld of Kelley, and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Siverley of Ames, and Mrs. Crane of Trenton, Mo.

For several years he was a Washington township constable, until that office passed out the existence with the creation of the Ames municipal court.
