MRS. O. B. ANDERSON OF ROLAND, DEAD

HAD BEEN RESIDENT OF COMMUNITY FOR OVER 40 YEAR PERIOD

Roland, Oct. 20--Another longtime resident of this community had been called by death. Mrs. Ole B. Anderson an invalid for three years, died at her home Sunday morning at 7:00 and the funeral will be held Wednesday. There will be brief services at the house at 1:30 and the funeral at Bergen church 2:00, with her pastor, Rev. Sumstadt in charge. Interment will be in the Roland cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson, a native of Norwy, where she was born Anna Ryan, came to America with her parents when a girl of 10 years.

The family home was first at Morris, Ill., where she was married in 1888 to Ole B. Anderson. They came out to Roland at once and settled on the farm 4 1/2 miles southeast of Roland, where they continued to reside until retiring in 1924 when they moved into Roland.

She leaves besides her husband, a daughter Mrs. Martin Minde of near Roland and two sons, Nels Anderson of Clarion and Otis Anderson of near Slater.

She also leaves her brothers Tom Ryan of Ellandale, Minn. and Eric Ryan of Slater, and sisters Mrs. Ed Rygh and Mrs. George Christenson of Slater and Mrs. Charles Thompson and Mrs. Lena Michaelson of Roland.

While Mrs. Anderson had been an invalid for about three years she did not become helpless until in May and final serious attack come on Wednesday, since which time she had been rapidly sinking.
