MRS. BARTHELOW DIED EARLY TODAY

INTERMENT TO BE IN NEVADA AFTER SERVICES AT COLO SUNDAY

Mrs. C. D. Bartholow 56, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Guy Riddlesbarger,, at an early hour today, from an attack of acute diabetes and other complications from which she had suffered for some time.

The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon. The body, now at the Bishop Funeral home, will be taken to the home of daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Bovee, four miles east of Nevada. The services will be held at the Methodist church in Colo, of which she was member at 3:00, after which the body will be interred in the Nevada cemetery by the side of her husband who died a number of years ago.

Mrs. Bartholow, born Ida Ikehorn, October 5, 1874, at Mendota, Illinois, had lived in Story county, in the vicinity of Nevada practically since a small girl.

The husband died a number of years ago, after which she continued to live upon and operate the farmstead on Lincoln way, a mile this side of Colo.

She leaves three daughters, they being Mrs. Faye Riddlesbarger of near Nevada, Mrs. Ethel McMurray of Waterloo and Mrs. Cora Bovee of near Colo.

The father died many years ago and the mother passed away about four years ago in California. The only brother, George Ikehorn, lives in Arkansas.
