Slater Man Died From Lockjaw Attack

Special to the Journal.
Slater, Aug. 8--Orval Simonson, age about 24 years, died at Iowa Lutheran hospital, Des Moines, early to day, a victim of lockjaw, resulting from injuries suffered a week ago, when his ankle was broken and he was otherwise injured in a motorcar accident.

The boy was taken to the Des Moines hospital yesterday when the lockjaw developed.

He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Simonson, prominent farmers of west of Slater.

He leaves besides his parents, one brother and three sisters.
