MRS. N. S. PARDUE DIED WEDNESDAY
WIFE OF WELL KNOWN SEVENTH STREET RESIDENT CALLED BY DEATH
Mrs. Johanna Pardue, 70, wife of N. S. Pardue, of 510 Seventh street, Nevada, died Wednesday evening at 5:00 and the funeral service will be held from the Morfoot Funeral home Saturday afternoon at 2:3 after which interment will be in the Nevada cemetery.
Mrs. Pardue, who was born at Mount Carroll, Illinois, July 2, 1860, came to Nevada, with her family about 14 years ago but had been a invalid for a number of years.
She leaves besides her husband N. S. Pardue, one son and three daughters. On daughter Miss Rose Pardue has lived here and cared for the home of the father. The only son Joe Pardue is now located at Des Plaines, Ill., but is expected her for the funeral.
One of the other daughters is in St. Louis and the other in Kentucky.
Mrs. Pardue and members of her family have been members of the Seventhday Adventist church for many years and the funeral service and interment will be directed by a minister of that denomination.
