ONE MAN DEAD; TWO INJURED WHEN COUPE STRUCK BUS

Special to the Journal.
Gilbert, April 28--Henry Irish, 21, of Charles City is dead, Earl Price, 19, of near this place is sill unconscious from injuries sustained and Mrs. Harry Bech of Belle Plaine is at Mary Greeley hospital with a broken collar bone and other injuries suffered in a crash on --- ---- east of this place Sunday morning at 11 o'clock.

Young Price was no his way from the Loyd Wakefield place, where he w--- to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Price, northwest of Gilbert, ------ --- crashed into the southbound Ft. Dodge, Des Moines, & Southern bus as he entered No. 15 from the east.

The impact was so strong that the bus was shoved off of the road and was badly damaged, as was the coupe driven by Price.

Both Irish and Mrs. Bech were riding of the left side of the bus and received the strength of the impact. Picked up severely injured the two were hurried in an ambulance to Mary Greeley hospital, where Irish died a few hours later.

Price was taken to the Iowa State College hospital, where he is still confined, unconscious and it is thought in a critical condition.

Price was alone in his car and force of the collision wrecked his coupe and badly damaged the bus. The driver of the bus and the passengers were lacerated by splintered glass.
