Des Moines Teacher Died Here Today

Miss Elsie Hansen, 26, of Exira, teacher in the Seventh Day Adventist church school in Des Moines and sister of Miss Dollie Hansen, bookkeeper at the Iowa Sanitarium died about 6:30 this morning at the sanitarium where she had submitted to an operation for the removal of her appendix on Monday.

Miss Hansen is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Hansen of Exira, a sister who is now on the sea on a return trip form Africa, where she had been a missionary, a brother James, attending Southwestern Junior College, at Keene, Texas, a brother Alfred and sister Hazel attending college in Arlington, Calif., a brother William at Union college, Neb., a sister, Mrs. Andrew Christiansen at Exira and two brothers, Russel and Harrison and a sister Ida in the home, in addition to Miss Dollie Hansen, who has been here for some time.

The body, accompanied by the parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. p. Hansen and the sister Miss Dollie Hansen left this afternoon for Exira where the funeral and burial will be held.
