MOTHER DIED, A PNEUMONIA VICTIM
MRS. C. E. POUCH* OF NEAR FERNALD LEAVES HUSBAND AND 4 CHILDREN
Mrs. S. E. Pouch*, 36, died at her home northeast of Fernald Monday afternoon after a week's illness during which pneumonia developed.
The funeral will be held at the Presbyterian church in McCallsburg Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock after which burial will be in the McCallsburg cemetery.
Mrs. Pouch, whose maiden name was Lottie Genevieve Lemen, was born at Webster, S. D., April 30, 1894, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Lemen.*
She was married to C. E. Pouch May 1, 1912, and six children were born to them. A daughter Maxine and a son Harold died in infancy, while those surviving are Dean and Gene, twin sons age 15, Nellie 13, and Hazel 11.
She also leaves 6 brothers, Earl, Lewis, George, Dewey, Dean and Hallie all of Des Moines and a sister Hazel Hougland of McCallsburg.
The family came to the Fernald neighborhood two years ago from near New Virginia in Warren county.
