Nellie Martin, wife of B. R. Dawson, and adopted daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Laycock, died at her home southwest of the Park Saturday last and her funeral service was conducted by Dr. Bunce at the Methodist church Sunday afternoon. Her age was twenty-two. She was married in 1895. She had been ill all winter and much sympathy had been with her and the three babes that are now motherless.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Nellie (Martin) Dawson was the daughter of Franklin James Martin and Eliza J. Heald and was apparently informally adopted by Levi Morgan Laycock and Adelia Myer.
