Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

William Dean Henderson was born on July 24, 1949 in Ames, Iowa to Curtis and Norma (Ford) Henderson. He married Patricia Jans on May 31, 1970. Will farmed for 20 years then worked at Record Printing as a Press Operator for 27 years.
He was a member of Elim Lutheran Church and was a lifetime resident of the Randall area. Will enjoyed gardening, watching sporting events, reading, tending to his yard and watching westerns on tv; but he really loved and his family and especially the grandchildren.
Will passed away December 26, 2017 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames at the age of 68.
Will is survived by his wife, Pat of rural Story City; two sons, Daniel (Michelle) Henderson of Ankeny and Jason (Brenda) Henderson of Story City; a daughter, Lucy (Vishal) Patel of Denver, CO; five grandchildren, Brett, Megan, Moriah, Torran (Natalie) and Calvin; two great grandchildren, Karsyn and Remi; a brother, Steve (Becky) Henderson of Fairfax, MN; a sister, Rosemary (Dale) Kinne of Mankato, MN and a sister-in-law, Neva Henderson of rural Story City.
Will was preceded in death by his parents; step father, Harris Hanson and a brother, Craig Henderon.
