Obituary from Baca's Funeral Chapels, Las Cruces, New Mexico.

On Saturday October 7, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Susan Ilene Morrical unexpectedly left the physical world and entered into the spiritual world at the age of 62. Even though her time on earth was entirely too short, everyone that loved and knew her were greatly affected and forever changed by her spirit and loving nature. Susan held a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Purdue University and she worked selflessly for 27 years in the Nevada School District.

It was difficult to find pictures for her memorial services - Why? Because she was always the one behind the lens taking the pictures of her loved ones, family, and friends. Susan worried about everyone in her life and worked endlessly to accommodate what others needed and wanted, with her primary focus being others' happiness and contentment.

She was always able to accomplish this with her endless love and her amazing talent to use butter, sugar, eggs, chocolate, or vanilla to make delicious sweet treats all could, and did enjoy; she was an amazing baker and by far her most important ingredient for every recipe was love. She will forever be missed, but there is comfort knowing she will be with us every day in spirit and watching down on us from heaven -- never missing a tee time with her husband, an impromptu casino trip with her sisters and daughter, or sporting events and jackpot shows with her grandchildren, son, and daughter-in-law. We love you with all of our hearts and will forever be grateful for the short time we had you with us.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Daniel Gene Morrical; daughter, Melissa Sue Morrical; son, Joel Reed Morrical, and wife, Erin Elizabeth. She also leaves behind the three individuals she adored and loved most in this world, her three beautiful grandchildren, Sawyer Raye, John Daniel and Tucker James Morrical. In addition, she is survived by her mother, LaDonna Mae Lessman, brother, Mark Koert Lessman, and sisters, Cheryl Louise Ryan, Sandra Jane Limon, and Sally Ann Ferralez.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, Koert James Lessman. All our love, forever and always. At her request cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road with Pastor Robert Carabotta officiating.

There will also be a Memorial Service held from 1 PM to 3 PM in Nevada, Iowa on October 21, 2017.
