October 28, 1931 - October 4, 2017

Kathleen Ann Davis, 85, of Ames died Wednesday, October 4, 2017, of cancer at Israel Family Hospice House. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Kathleen was born in Nevada and grew up in Collins, graduating from Collins High School in 1949. She was the daughter of Forest “Jack” and Imogene (Stiegelmeier) Kitchen. She was a resident of Ames for more than 60 years.

Kathleen is survived by her children, Vicki (Denny) Christianson; Sheryl Davis; Mark (Kristin) Davis; and Brian Davis; brother, Dean Kitchen; grandchildren, Carrie, Michael, Andrew, Emma, and Chelsea; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Beverly Renfeldt; and aunt, Lavon "Bonnie" Anderson.
