OBITUARY
Nellie Rahfeldt died Monday
Nellie Rahfeldt, 73, Zearing, died Monday at 2 pm at the Story County Hospital in Nevada. She had been in failing health for 30 years and spent the last 15 years of her life in a nursing home.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 pm from the Bethel United Methodist Church, Zearing, with the Rev Richard L Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Zearing Cemetery.
Miss Rahfeldt was born Oct 15, 1896 on a farm south of Zearing. She lived in that community all her life.
She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs Walter Lydia Gull and Mrs Lottie Erickson, both of Zearing, three brothers, William, Robert and Eddie Rahfeldt, all of Zearing; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Her parents, Mrs and Mrs Albert Rahfeldt and two bothers, preceded her in death.
The Broughard Funeral Home, Zearing is in charge of funeral arrangements.

NELLIE RAHFELDT
Funeral services for Nellie Rahfeldt, 73, were held April 16 from Bethel United Methodist Church, Zearing, with the Rev B Miller officiation. Burial was in Zearing Cemetery.
Nellie Rahfeldt, the daughter of Albert and Sarah Rahfeldt, was born on a farm southwest of Zearing, Oct 15, 1896 and died April 13 at the Story County Hospital. She had been in poor health for the past 30 years and for the last 15 years had been cared for in nursing homes.
Most of her life was pent in the Zearing community She was a lifetime member of the Bethel United Methodist Church at Zearing.
Survivors include three brothers, William, Robert and Eddie Rahfeldt, and two sisters, Mrs Walter Gull an Mrs Lottie Erickson, all of Zearing.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two bothers, Fred and Charlie Rahfeldt.
Pallbearers were Ambrose Johnston, Edward Johnson, Wilbur Eley, Carroll Bailey, Guy Clatterbuck, William Brown, Sr.
