OBITUARY
CLARA BUFFINGTON
May 17, 1898 to Dec 27, 1999
Clara Buffington, 101, died of congestive heart failure on Monday, Dec 27, at Colonial Manor in Zearing.
She was born May 17, 1898, in the rural Hubbard area to Henry and Mitilda (Ziemke) Walters. She married Joseph Andrew Buffington on Sept 6 (no year or place of marriage given). She lived as a homemaker and housewife and was a lifelong resident of Zearing.
Survivors include two grandsons, Bruce Buffington of Dallas, Texas, and Mark Buffington of Mt Vernon, Ill; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, five brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec 31, at 10 am at Fredregill Funeral Home in Zearing. Burial will be in the Lincoln Township Cemetery in Zearing. Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec 30, from 5-8 pm, with the family present from 6-8 pm at the Fredregill Funeral Home, Zearing.
