OBITUARY
ARTHUR WALTERS
Funeral services for Arthur Walters, 91, were held Monday, March 31, at 10:30 am at Zion United Church of Christ, Hubbard.
Mr Walters died Thursday, march 27, 1986, at Colonial Manor in Zearing.
Rev Darrell mitchell had charge of the funeral service. burial was in Hubbard Cemetery.
Mr Walters, a retired farmer, was born April 13, 1895, in Hardin County to Albert and Charlotte Busch Walters. he grew up on a Hardin County farm and attended school at Pleasant Hill.
He married Ida Strake and the couple lived on a farm all their lives. Their children are Wilma Gray, Zearing; David of Iowa Falls, Donna Weisser, Houston, TX and Merle Walter, New Providence.
After retirement Mr Walters lived in Hubbard until he moved to Colonial manor in Zearing about seven years ago.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and two brothers, Harry and Willie. His four children survive as do nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
