OBITUARY
MARIE A WALTERS
Aug 14, 1903 to April 30, 1997
Marie A Walters, 93, of Zearing and formerly of New Providence, died of a stroke on Wednesday, April 30, at Colonial Manor in Zearing.
She was born to August and Jennie (Steinberg) Donner in Eldora on Aug 14, 1903. she married Frank Walters, and lived as a homemaker and housewife. She was a lifelong resident of New Providence and came to Colonial Manor on Aug 15, 1991.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty (Elvin) Perisho, of Zearing; a son, James Walters, of Hubbard; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister Katherine Prochaska, of Iowa Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, and three sisters.
Funeral services were held May 3 at St Gabriel's Catholic Church, Zearing. Burial was at St Mary's Cemetery, Eldora. Fredregill Funeral Home, Zearing handled arrangements.

Marie A Walters, 93, of Zearing died Wednesday of a stroke at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home. Services ate at 10:30 am Saturday at the St Gabriel's Catholic Church in Zearing. Burial will be in the St Mary's Cemetery in Eldora.
Marie A Walters was born in Eldora, the daughter of August and Jennie (Steinberg) Donner. She married Frank Walters. Mrs Walters was a homemaker and lived most of her life in New Providence. She moved to the Colonial Manor in Zearing in 1991.
Mrs Walters is survived by one daughter, Betty Perisho of Zearing; one son, James Walters of rural Hubbard; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Katherine Prochaska of Iowa Falls.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation is after 10 am Friday at the Fredregill Funeral Home in Zearing. A rosary will be a 7:30 pm Friday.
