Susan Ramona Keen, 68 of Nevada, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Susan was born January 22, 1949, in Marshalltown, the daughter of Roscoe Luke and Ramona Marie (Eggers) Milleson. She graduated from Colo High School in 1967 and worked for Iowa State University as a secretary in Ag and Bio Systems Engineering. She was a member of Ullensvaug Lutheran Church in Thor, Iowa and on July 22, 1995, Susan was united in marriage to Gary Keen at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Susan enjoyed traveling, playing computer games and staying connected on Facebook. Her children and grandchildren were always most important in her life.

Susan is survived by her husband, Gary of Nevada; her sons: Bryon (Melissa) Dutton of Elkhart and Bret (Sarah) Dutton of Nevada; her mother, Ramona Milleson of Nevada; her siblings: Anna Hartwig of Ames, Earl (Nancy) Milleson of Colo, Larry (Jodi) Milleson of Charles City and LuAnn (Gary) Cooling of LeGrand; her grandchildren: Paige, Grace, Brock, Braydon, Isaac, Bryson, Ryder and Simon Dutton. She was preceded in death by her father and sister Cindy Milleson, in infancy.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday August 7 at Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 8 at Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada with Pastor David Burling officiating. Burial will follow at the Nevada Municipal Cemetery in Nevada.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
