Further particulars of the suicide of John Nordskog, formerly a businessman of Story City, are given by the Story City Herald. It appears that he had for some time been living at Dayton and that he had taken to drink to such a degree that his wife had been compelled to leave him and return to her parents at Story City. Then he was arrested at the instance of neighbors, and while he was in justice court he stepped out for a drink, and returning soon gave evidence of having taken poison, and his death soon followed. He was a man who some years ago stood well at Story City; and the conclusion of his decline into bad habits will cause much regret.
