John Helgeson, a laboring man committed suicide Saturday night at the home of his brother, Knute Helgeson, about a mile south of town. He was fifty-six years of age, had suffered a good deal from pain in his head and sleeplessness and, this brain trouble it is believed resulted in temporary insanity and the ending of his life. He was unmarried and had accumulated a comfortable property. To his aged father fell the shock of discovering his lifeless body hanging in the barn.
