Mrs. Abel Thompson died last Thursday after a brief sickness of a few days. Her death came as a surprise to this community. Mrs. Thompson was the daughter of Mr. Norem of this city and was married to Abel Thompson about eight years ago, since which time they have resided in Roland. Mr. Thompson being a builder and contractor by trade. She leaves besides the husband, five children, the youngest being only two weeks old. Funeral services were held at Bergens church Saturday afternoon conducted by her pastor, Rev. Smedal.
