Death of Mrs. Ed Goodin
Mrs. Ed Goodin, formerly for many years a resident of Nevada, died Friday morning at her home in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and her remains arrived here for burial this morning. The funeral will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed. Armstrong. Mrs. Goodin's maiden name was Viola Applegate and she was 47 years of age. She leaves her husband and five children besides brothers and sisters. She had been in poor health since the removal to Muskogee two years ago, and her death was the result of consumption. Her body was accompanied back to Nevada by her brother Delos Applegate and her sisters, Mrs. Sadie Ramer and Mrs. Bert Hempstead, the last of Clinton all of whom had been called to Muskogee also came but her daughter, Mrs. Armstrong, who had also been called there was detained further by illness in the family and will not return for a week or so. Mrs. Goodin was a woman of much worth and patience; and she will be most sincerely mourned by those who were associated with her.
