Death of Mrs. Stephen McNichols

Mrs. Mary McNichols, wife of Stephen McNichols of O'Neill, Nebraska, died about three o'clock this morning at the home of her mother, Mrs. John Connolly east of Nevada. Mrs. McNichols had previously been reported as in a critical condition, and her death therefore occasions little surprise. Her husband and three children arrived Saturday from their Nebraska home and were with her at the end. She came here recently to attend her father's funeral and after her arrival was seized with a gathering in her head, the effects of which grew worse and worse as her illness continued. She was somewhat over fifty years of age and had been married for about twenty-two years. She was a large strong and vigorous woman, for whom a long life would have been naturally expected. Deep sympathy will be felt for her family and friends in their bereavement. The funeral will be held from the Catholic church at Colo Wednesday at ten o'clock.
