Ames and College

Mr. George Pitsor died at the hospital in Des Moines, Saturday evening as a result of an operation a few weeks ago for cancer of the stomach. His body wa brought to Ames the following day and the funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Congregational church conducted by Rev. A. M. Shea. He was a soldier of the Civil War and came to Ames from Dubuque, thirty-five years ago.
