OBITUARY

Death of Andrew Short

Andrew Short, long a resident of Nevada or vicinity died last evening, July 28, 1908, at his home on the Dyer farm west of town as the result of typhoid fever. He had been ill for about three weeks, although the judgment of physicians was that he would pull through, until within the past two or three days when his condition grew steadily worse. His family at the time of his death consisted of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Church. Mr. Short was about fifty years of age and was known as a man of industry and thrift. He had lived for a number of years upon the Dyer farm and was recognized as a careful farmer. His death will be much regretted by numerous friends.
