OBITUARY

Mrs. Charles Dawson.

Mrs. Charles Dawson died Sunday morning March 1st, at her home four and half miles northwest of Nevada.

Virginia May Hotsenpiller was born in McLean county, Illinois May 23, 1862. At the age of sixteen years she united with the M. E. church at Lexington, Illinois. In 1882 she was united in marriage to Charles H. Dawson. Of this union ten children were born, one of whom died in infancy. In 1890 she and her husband moved to Story county, Iowa,, where she lived the rest of her life. She was a devoted wife and mother.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband and nine children, Mrs. Mack Toms of Nevada, Mrs. Howard Bishop of Nadiad, India, Mrs. Adam Ballard of Ontario, Herbert, Clarence, Mearl, Enza, Mabel and Irene.

The deceased also leaves three brothers and three sisters, Mrs. Wm. Hotsenpiller, Mr. Charles Hotsenpiller and Mr. James Hotsenpiller of Carstaus, Canada, Mrs. Geo. D. Randal of Rathdrum, Idaho, Miss Mary Hotsenpiller of Twin Falls, Idaho and Mrs. Walter Conder of Nevada.
