Death of Mrs. Oscar Thompson.

Mrs. Oscar Tompson died this morning at four o'clock. She took sick Tuesday morning of last week with rheumatic fever which at the last, affected her heart and brought on the end.

Mrs. Tompson's maiden name was Bertha Herem. She was born November 10, 1881 and was married to Oscar Tompson from Roland in September 1901. To this union were born five children, two of whom died in infancy. Rufus, Amos and Cora survive and are respectively, five, four and three years old. Burial will be at the Roland cemetery. The whole community extend heartfelt sympathy to the sorrowing family.

SUBMITTER' NOTE: Bertha Hereim was the daughter of Bjorn Andreas "Andrew" Hereim and Lisabeth Halvorsdatter Bakka. Her father died in 1885 and she took her stepfather's (Bartolis Fagerland) last name.
