Death at Ames

John Brown, the delivery man for the Lanning mail in Ames, died suddenly Monday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Susan Pierce in that city, aged about seventy years. He had seemed in usual health and had done his regular work during the day. He fell while getting some wood in the yard, called to his daughter, and soon expired.
